No reservations on a concert night? Tried to make reservations for tonights' pre-concert dinner, at 4:30. The person I talked with wouldn't take my reservation because it was a concert night. Isn't that why someone would make a reservation, so to avoid a wait and crowd that just walks in? Why does someone who would just walk in get priority over someone who would call ahead to plan for it being busy and helping them/us? Sorry we won't join the crowd there as we have a concert to make. I'll go somewhere else that will accomodate my advance planning.

Let me first say that the food at Ariel's is great! I haven't had a bad dish yet. The service on the other hand is less to be desired. My friend had to go the bar to ask for a refill on his drink. That was a first for me. We didn't see our server until it was time for the check. Something needs to change before I ever go back there.

I went to dinner here prior to a concert at the nearby First Midwest Bank Amphitheater. When I checked in at the hotel that was 1 block away, the front desk attendentcouldn't tell me anything about the restaurant. She stated that several local restaurants drop off menus and describe their facility. Ariel's doesn't. Outside the restaurant were huge banners proclaiming their pre-concert specials. The hostess and the wait staff had no knowledge of said specials. Then there's the menu confusion. This place Describes itself as an Irish Bar. Irish?? It certainly had Irish fare on the menu, but why the Bruschetta, Nachos, Quesadilla, Jambalaya, Paella, Moroccan Salmon, and so on? Is it a sports bar? There were lots of TV's on the walls, although they were showing a mixture of sports and news. Is it an eclectic place? The art work looked like it was trying to be modern. Maybe it was. The tables had tablecloths, but with paper on the top. So is it a bar or a fine restaurant? The food and service were certainly adequate, but not quite exceptional. So its not a bad place, just a confusing place.

We went there recently with another couple who arrived before us and sat without service for 15 minutes before a server showed up to take their drink order. The rest of the evening followed suit. I received the wrong entree, my fiance likewise received his burger without the pretzel bun he ordered (and paid for, which we discovered once the bill came!). The manager did come to our table to apologize, and I understand any new establishment will undergo some growing pains. However, beyond the confused service, the place itself is strangely overgrown and bizarrely laid out. The ceilings are incredibly high but the tables relatively short so you're left with the feeling of sitting at the kids table at Thanksgiving. Altogether, it looks like all the furniture and decoration is cheap and light so that it can be quickly moved out of the way to turn into a weird dance club. Would not recommend.

I think we were there the same night as Sharon M. The service was so so slow and we were seated in the circular room that was SO loud you could barely hear the person next to you speak. Our waitress was nice but lacked multitasking skills. She seemed to be able to only hear one thing at a time (in her defense maybe she couldn't hear either because it was so loud in there). Food was only so so. Between all of us, we tried a few salads, the nachos, the club and the calamari. The calamari was by far the best tasting thing we had all night. I don't live in the area, but I doubt I'd go back if I did.

What a great find in Tinley Park, Il. In a sea of chain restaurants, this place stands out as a must try! We decided to try some place new for dinner. I had heard about Ariel's, but never knew exaxtly where it was. Ariel's is off the beaten path. We walked into a beautiful bar and were seated by the friendliest staff. They seated us immediately and were quick to take out drink orders. They have a great beer and wine selection. The menu all looked tasty. We started with the buffalo calamari. Order this dish if you like calamari. This is an inventive take on boring calamari. I cant wait to have this again. We continued on with fish and chips and a burger. The fish was flakey and cooked perfectly. My burger was cooked exactly to my liking. Both dishes were served with yummy waffle fries. We had a great experience at Ariel's. Will be coming back to watch games on the multuple big screens and for the awesome food!

I was there for dinner and the server, Mary was just great. Location is easy to get to, being close to I80 & Harlem Ave. It is in the same area as the Wingate Hotel in Tinley Park, IL. They had on of my all time favorite dishes on the dinner menu, Beef Stroganoff. The soup was well prepared as well. This is a casual sports bar with great food. Try it - You'll like it.

Good first impression. Cold beer. Good wings. Friendly staff. Nice facility. Will be back. Good multi-purpose type place. Watch a game. Host a party. Have dinner, or just hang out with friends. Open and airy.

The food was decent and came out quickly. The place has a pleasant atmosphere with a nice modern decor. There are plenty of beets on tap and in bottles. The only downfall was the band. Holy Hell they were so loud it was unbearable. And one member of the band looked like Benjamin Franklin.

Been here multiple times. Hope this place makes it, not a lot of people know it is here. Great beer selection, extensive alcohol and very adequate wine, including some on tap. All the food we have had including pizza, lamb meatballs, spinach & artichoke dip, fried asparagus have all been fantastic. Service has been a little slow at times, but staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of TV's so a great place to watch a game.

Food is very good, however service sucks here. Don't expect to get your food at a reasonable time as you will be disappointed with how long your wait will be

The first time I came here everything went right. Service was great and the food was good. With that in mind I returned. What a disappointment. We sat in the bar area and after 15 minutes of not being noticed. Went to the hostess and asked if she can send over a waitress. No problem, I see the hostess ask the server that was working some other tables. I here this waitress say I am not handling those tables. WTF, so another comes by and takes our orders. Things never improved, our server was swamped waiting on the dining room and trying to get back to us. Just was not working, I had a burger and fries that the burger was good, the fries were dry and tasteless. We each had 1 drink and that was it, not asked if we wanted another or even water. Not a very good second experience. The place itself is very nice but with the service being how it is, not good. Management need to take a good look and make some improvements. I do not need to go back

My friends and I went to ariels after our lessons, and their food was great. Their customer service was awesome, too. They gave me curry ketchup with my fries, and Ive never tried anything like it! I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Should have followed the advice of those that went before us! Ariel's has a nice piece written in the local paper (Mokena Messenger) about wanting people to try them out for the Hawks game. Fair enough, we were looking for a new place to try that was local. We arrived well before game time (30+ min) and got a great table. It was all down hill from there. It was full crowd but everyone was seated and not overflowing. It took almost 20 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine from the bar which was literally 5 feet away. The waitress had more excuses than she did deliveries (busser called off, very busy in the kitchen, only 2 cooks, etc). The only reason we did finally get something to drink is because the hostess happened to come by. She was the only one who seemed to have any sense. She was outstanding. First time I've directly tipped a hostess. From the time we ordered quesadillas until delivery, 40 minutes! The hostess actually tracked my wife down as we left (decided to go some place else for the rest of the evening) to apologize and offered to take care of us next time we came in. She really should look for a better place where here outstanding attitude would be beneficial. Also, it didn't appear that any managers were working the room at all. Must have been out watching the game somewhere else.

Beautiful new bar restaurant. Food was excellent. Ordered calamari and sliders. Service was very slow and disappointing. 2 bartenders behind bar were busy chatting and chewing on wings vs tending to the 5 people at the bar. We literally had to wait for their personal chatter to end to get served.

I came here to see a band play and their nachos were amazing and a super reasonable price! Totally coming back again soon

I have a HUGE Irish family, my whole family wanted somewhere to go out after one of my cousins got married last Saturday. We told the manager a month in advanced to expect an additional 150-200 ppl that night more than the usual patronage because we were staying in the hotel right next to the bar, they assured us they would have appropriate staffing and that they would love to have us. We called them a week before just to remind them and were once again reassured. We got there as promised an there was only 2 bartenders and a couple waitresses. It was a mess, people were waiting 15-20 minutes just to get a few bottles of beer. Maybe we'll go back again and try out the good because the place is so pretty but I'm not sure we want to experience poor costumer service again.

This place was obnoxiously loud, over priced, and the food was terrible. I had the Philly sandwich and it was incredibly dry with no flavor.

Aside from the big blown up rat on the front of the business, the place looked nice. The menu was large and appealing and the food was decently good. Met a friend for lunch, service was fast. My friend had the Shepards Pie to which she referred to as a little runny. My wrap was good, no complaints. I believe their grand opening is approaching.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went to Ariel's last night to be exact. First, no one was at the hostess area to seat me. Five minutes later I was seated. My server Kelly was the nicest server I'd had in awhile. Very accommodating. Now as far as the food it sucked big time. I'd ordered from the Sunday special menu. I'd ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, I don't know what the bartender concocted, but it was not an long island. It tasted like it had some type of spice in it and the liquor used was of low standard (I'm a drinker so I know my drinks...lol). I'd also ordered a Caesar Salad. It seems as though it was sitting in the refrigerator all day and the dressing tasted sour. Now for the main course, the Shrimp pasta. It was suppose to have a cajun flavor to it, but it seemed as though the chef used damn near a bottle of cayenne pepper. It was not flavorful, tasty, and too hot. Kelly the server did asked how was my meal since she seen a full glass of Long Island, an uneaten salad and pasta. I said I don't know the cook may be, but you guys may need to acquire a new one cause he/she can't cook worth a damn. She then offered me another meal on the house, but I'd declined. I felt as though if he can't cook a simple pasta meal, I don't want to chance another. The bar/restaurant itself is very roomy and well decorated. But again I must stress a new cook and a different bartender that knows how to make a drink and not just pouring beer in a glass. This was my second time here, I thought I will be coming back anytime soon until the kinks are out.

Nice looking building from the outside. Friendly enough greeting at the door. Ordered the fish & chips and some sautéed spinach. The fish & chips was soggy, tasteless, cold and not substantial enough to justify the cost. The spinach and accompanying garlic was never sautéed and came out raw. The service was also very slow. I work right by it and thought it may be a nice place to bring clients, that will definitely NOT be happening!!!!

First visit and last visit; wish I would have read Ruben's review before I ordered my second choice, I agree. My first menu choice they were out of. It was not even crowded at dinner time, that should have been the first clue. My husband ordered a New York Strip Steak, majority of if was fat, but covered in ragout sauce so it was not visible. $30 was not worth it for the steak, which did not include anything. We don't mind spending money on a steak from Ruth Chris' or Gibson's when it melts in your mouth. Sorry to say we won't be back.

I liked this place, and had no service issues though I think others in our party may have. I had the chicken and vegtable quesadillas and they were great. Our server Kelly was quite accomodating and I really like the interior.

This bar/restaurant has the potential to be a great place but as many others have mentioned, the service was horrible. We walked in around 7:00 and sat in the main dining room and only about 5 tables were being used. The waitress brought us over the beer menu immediately. That's the best service we got. She did not come back to take our drink order for 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and water. The drinks, minus waters, came 10 minutes later. She then immediately ran away without asking us if we were ready to order-which we were and our menus were closed and stacked to show we were ready. Another 10 minutes later, she stopped back with some pretzel bread which was very good. We asked what the soup of the day was and she answered while running away from us and wouldn't even stop to answer us. It was like we were bothering her. Finally she walked by and I had to stop her to tell her we were ready to order. We ordered soup and sandwiches. Potato leek soup came out very quickly and was extremely good! Highly recommended. At this point I asked for our waters and she refilled a beer. Dinner came out shortly after, not a long wait at all. Then, the service disappeared again. A cook brought out our food, not our waitress, which was fine. I quickly realized my sandwich that I ordered without slaw, was covered in it. However, no one ever came back to check on us. I waited for a few minutes to see if she was going to check on us, but evenutally decided to just scrape it off. As we finished our meals, we had empty drinks and our waitress never came back to offer another round...which we planned on having, a few rounds most likely. After sitting with our plates and empty glasses at the edge of the table for another 10 minutes, we decided we were going to leave. We had our credit card and wallet out waiting to hand it over because we knew it could be a while before getting a check. She finally swung by, moved the wallet out of the way and grabbed the plates before we could even get her attention. No asking us how our dinner was, do you want more drinks, dessert, etc. Again, she took forever to come back when we were finally able to ask for the bill. She then asked if we wanted another drink. It took us about 2 hours from start to finish to get soup and sandwiches. That's ridiculous. The place was not all that crowded. Also, at one point our waitress made a comment as she was running away about how we were in no rush and had no reason to hurry to make our decision about the menu. My thoughts-Ummm, actually, it is 7:00 and we are starving and already know what we want but she wouldn't even stop at our table. Only talked to us from over her shoulder as she was running back in to the kitchen. When she did disappear in to the kitchen, she would go missing for 10 minutes, not even over to the other tables. We all heard her say a million times "just flag me down if you need something" but she was no where to be seen. The other tables around us were mentioning the same thing and I saw one person send his food back to the kitchen because it was made wrong. Like I said, the food and drinks were pretty good. The waffle fries were way better than the chips-we would not recommend the chips. Sandwiches and soup were good. Drinks-awesome! Variety-awesome. The actual layout and amount of tables and tv are great. There is great potential for this place. Management-you really need to start listening to some of these reviews. The service was horrible. We would love to go back, but I will wait until I see some reviews that the service has improved. I would never want to bring someone here.

For a late night hang out post-wedding, we found ourselves at Ariel's- right across the parking lot from our hotel. It's got a nice vibe, and is plenty spacious. We arrived aftermidnight and it wasn't very crowded. Our group took over many tables without a problem. You had to order everything at the bar, which was no problem, drinks were made quickly. And the prices... SO CHEAP! We ordered whiskey drinks- 4.25 each, 3 mixed shots were like $7 and change. We were not used to that!! Even though it was after midnight, the kitchen was still open. Chicken nachos were ordered, and they were pretty good- decent sized chunks of chicken, lots of other toppings, lots of chips. Good quality nachos, but the menu was not super big. A great time was had by all! If I'm ever in the area, I would stop by again.

This is only a review for the bar. I've stopped in here several times now for drinks. I have had a great experience every time. The bartenders have been on top of their game and friendly. They have a decent beer selection and pretty good wine too. I haven't yet tried the mixed drinks. It gets pretty crowded but this place is huge. I've never had a problem getting a table or spot at the bar. I have never actually noticed what the specials are, but I do know they almost always have one. Other people I know seem to enjoy the food. I just haven't gotten around to eating here yet. I'm not opposed to trying it. Everything about this place seems very clean and appealing.

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere very comfortable, and the service top notch. Even better, the price for the cobb salad we enjoyed was amazingly affordable, as were the adult beverages. We were served warm rolls with butter prior to dinner, and our salads were piled with grilled chicken, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese, eggs, etc. Every bite was completely fresh!

If you accept this place for what it is, you probably won't be disappointed. It's a vapid suburban eatery located by several hotels that is posing as an Irish bar. The food is actually of pretty good quality and it's not your token effort at bar food. The drink selection is good as well whether you're looking for a beer or a nice, stiff drink. They have Vodka chilled on tap. While that's not my thing, I can appreciate it. Credit where credit is due. If you're traveling to the area, this is worth your time (10% off w/ your hotel key card) relative to what else you can get. If you're a local, flip a coin. So,... Food: 7/10 Ambiance: 4/10 Value: 5/10 Location to my hotel: 10/10 P.S. I'm pretty sure that photo #1 is not even of this establishment. Pretty fitting, actually.

My husband and I ventured out to try the new Irish Pub kid on the block in the south suburbs. It was busy for being off the beaten path and having heard their grand opening was still a week or so out. Previewing the menu online beforehand, it seemed there were many items on the menu that went beyond traditional irish pub grub, so that we looked forward to...we like to have an open mind. Upon entering, it seemed a lot of other people had heard it was open for business. We were promptly seated in the center dining area which has very high ceilings. There wasn't much decor to absorb the sound and the result was lots of echoing and a cold feel. If you're going to promote yourself as an Irish pub, why not be inspired by the cozy feel of pubs with decor (stone, wood molding...even it if was faux...at least I wouldn't have felt I was in the lobby of a Hampton Inn)? We ran into other people we knew and they felt the same way. After a lot of consideration, I ordered the fish and chips and my husband, the pub burger. The fish tasted very fresh but very bland. Perhaps adding a brew would have made it more interesting. To add flavor, I asked for vinegar (a very standard Irish pub condiment), but was told there was none on hand. I couldn't believe this detail was overlooked. My husband's burger, while hefty and tasting of fresh ingredients, was bland as well. I tasted it and asked "that things needs some sauce" and he replied that the menu listed it as having some sort of flavored mayo on it (chipotle possibly). There was the smallest swipe of mayo on it I've ever seen. We both ordered the waffle fries as our side and despite some herb splashed on top of them, those were bland as well. I think that could've used a dill or chive dipping sauce just to offer something different besides standard ketchup. The vanilla gelato with caramel sauce for desert was tasty and we ate that up like nobody's business. The waiter was very attentive and the service was prompt. I think the components are there, just seem half-baked at this point. The food and restaurant were not memorable. For long-term success, perhaps consider adding a kick to the food as well as coziness and charm to the ambiance.

The place lacks leadership and I will not be returning!! My husband and I went to this place on a friday evening, it was mostly empty. We were seated right away, unfortunately we waited 10 mins before a waiter even came to greet us..It's not like they didn't know we were there because it was 4 waiters and staff walking by not doing anything! We had to flag somebody down. And the young man was really nice but he seem lost. I asked for the manager and he told me they didn't know where she was. I was ready to leave and go to a different restaurant. My hubby insisted we order, so we did. After 30 mins our order came out. The pork nachos were a huge portion. The bbq sauce on the pork was too sweet for my liking. My hubby had the salmon, he said it was good. I had the pork chops wrapped in bacon with mash potatoes. Bacon wasn't cook through. Overall, I wouldn't go back to this place.

This restaurant really caters to the bar scene as opposed to a full blown restaurant. The night we were there we didn't see many people in the restaurant, maybe two other couples. There was plenty of room in the bar so we took a table there. Our server was timely, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and some of the local fare. The kitchen did not prepare the meal as requested, and no offer was made to correct. I'm sure everyone has an off day now and again. And I am sure that the next time I'm in town I will give them a chance to see if that was the case.

Seriously one of the best meals ever! My husband had the burger & I had the quesadilla. Both were DELICIOUS!!! It was the best quesadilla I've ever had & he said the same about the burger. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable & fun and the bartender (Ashley?) was very nice & personable. The next time we're in town for a concert we'll definitely go back! Sarah, Peoria IL

NEW MANAGEMENT!!! The new management at Ariel's contacted me via Yelp, asking me to give them another try. It just so happened that I was looking for a place to host a euchre meetup group of 32, and I knew they had the space. It was serendipity - or just really great timing! John, the manager, put me in touch with Kelly, the event coordinator. In no time, I had an alcove of the bar secured for a Friday night for our group. Such great communication and friendliness. Several of the group arrived around 6 so they could eat/drink before we started playing cards. Things have really changed - the bar is still great in terms of the atmosphere and layout - but service was AMAZING. Seriously, the bartenders and servers were great. Mary waited on me, and could not have been more friendly and on her game. The food was better than I remembered, by a lot. I had the chicken quesadilla appetizer - huge and filling. Several ordered the reuben and it was huge and mouthwatering. My friend said the turkey burger was moist. I don't think there was anything ordered that was not enjoyed. They had about 20 beers on tap, and maybe even a few wines. I stuck with summer shandy, but they had a good selection. Prices were decent too - I think $4 for a pint and $2.50 for domestic bottles. However, I think they only run this special when there is a concert going on in Tinley. But they do have beer flights for $10 bucks daily. I'm so happy to find that this hidden gem of a great bar turned it around. It really is a large space, good food, great service. I can't wait to go back!

The food was mediocre. Calamari had little flavor and there were little unidentifiable bits in it. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Can't win them all.

I am in love with their Buffalo Calamari! I am a sucker for pain and it's a good pain, it is spicy. I can not get enough of this stuff! I have had the spicy chicken sandwiches, and their pizza and they never disappoint. The restaurant inside is beautiful. It has an area for the sports fanatics and a romantic area for the love birds. Family friendly too!

Very nice place. Great bar and selection of beer and liquor as well as a cute, friendly bartender, Chovonne and great burger. I almost forgot about the ice cold beer. It wasn't too crowded, probably due to the location. This isn't a place that you drive by, unless you're in the hotels surrounding this place. If it was on Harlem, you probably would have to wait for a seat. Definitely a place I will revisit.

Went here before seeing a show at the Midwest Bank Amphitheater and so we were looking for convenient over quality. I didn't exactly get either. Place was half empty and we were immediately seated which was good as we had a show to catch. Given how empty the place looked, also figured we'd get our food fast. HA! There were 4 of us and were were greeted by our server pretty quickly so we were off to a good start but things went south from there. Beers took about 10 minutes to show up. We knew we were in a hurry so we placed our food order with our drink order in the hopes it would come up quickly. Again, no such luck. Wings and Fried Asparagus took more than half an hour to arrive. Apps taking a half an hour? Wha??? Ironically the manager walked over and asked how we were doing and I voiced my concern and asked for bread to tide us over. She was nice about it and we got bread. Apps showed up and they were just OK. The winds were fried and breaded which is what we ordered but there was no sauce on them it was served on the side. Weird but OK I guess... The asparagus was reported as being good but our friends. Then dinner showed up 15 minutes later. This is now nearly an hour since we sat down. We had ordered 3 burgers and a coconut encrusted tilapia. The burgers were decent sized but were not cooked as ordered. I think one was still moo-ing. Tilapia was bad. Burnt in one part, soggy in another. I was afraid to eat it as I wasn't sure it was done given how the burgers looked. Thankfully, no sickness occurred. Waitress was invisible. Nice, but invisible. We were told the kitchen was backed up but really? The place was half empty. Maybe 25% full. Max. Bad service, bad food and a long wait time make this place a no-go in my book. I would give them one star but I didn't want to be mean but they struck out on all accounts in my book.

A retirement party for 24 people at one long table. Did not make for an evening of conversation. There were two waitstaff and the service was OK. I was the last to be served my dinner. I am glad that everyone started eating as when my meal finally came, the people sitting directly across from me were not only done but their plates had been cleared! I was rushed into eating quickly as the others were being asked about dessert. For a Monday evening, the place was deserted. No reason more waitstaff could not have assisted. The food was good, this place could be better if they got the SERVICE aspect nailed.

Ok... It's been way longer than expected for our return trip...& obviously, worth the wait! We had the buffalo calamari, my husband had the Ariels burger & I had the chopped salad & soup of the day, ( stuffed pepper) ... All of it ABSOLUTELY delicious & we had a new server ...(1st day on the job), Caitlyn... Adorable, knowledgeable !! WTG Ariels!! You proved me wrong! ( my first review wasn't great)... Oh, & you have Rolling Rock ( my husband's fav) & Vlad the Conquistador, ( my fav)

I've been here about 5 times now over the last year and a half. Food is decent. Dinners are a bit pricey for the portions plus they don't come with a side or soup/salad. The burgers are decent. Their waffle fries and house made potato chips are good. Service over the last year is hit or miss. Sometimes they are very attentive and other times you never see your server once the food is out.

Stay away if you want good service and you are female. Myself and two friends went out for girls night out. Ordered Lynchburg lemonade after ten minute wait, my usual drink, all you could taste was jack Daniels. Not good. I couldn't drink it. Asked for new drink. The look I got from server was "like really". Baxter being very hesitant he got me new drink just like my friends, but of course no garnish like hers because I guess I asked for a replacement. My friends and I ordered appetizers for a total $70 bill. The bill. Came with my Lynchburg lemonade on it. Reluctantly the server removed it. Decided to go to bar and have a few drinks to catch up with old friends. Waited at least 15 minutes and no service. People entered after us., quite a few. They were served, we were ignored. We tried to wave down a server we were ignored. We got smart and left never to return.

Just finished eating here. Given the fact that there is about 10 hotels within walking distance should say a lot about why the place was so empty While my waiter was nice, he wasn't good. He didn't know the craft beer selections, which they noted in the menu, and didn't floor up, offer a glass of water, etc The food was pretty good, fried bar type fare. This place could be a gold mine for the right owner/manager.

Came in today with a group of about 25 people and pressed for time we manage to get everybody ordered, paid and out the door in approximately one hour. I was very impressed with the server, the service and the tasty burger I had. I ordered the Ariel's burger and requested no cheese and it came out perfect! I highly recommend this gem.

Went here for dinner with friends. restaurant was clean and not very busy for a sat night. Nice large screen TV's. Drinks were reasonable, food was just ok. Started with the spinach dip, not very good then for dinner 2 in our group had the BBQ salmon which was good and 2 people had the chicken which was very bland and wouldn't recommend IMO this place to survive will need to find a better chef and get more creative with there food menu. Would go back to watch pro or college games w/o dinner.

I have been here twice, the first time was just ok and my most recent visit was horrible! Went there on St. Patrick's day for a good Irish experience and I definitely didn't get one! First we get there and it was a table for 4 they said 10min wait, not bad but then we waited 30-40mins and had to ask what was going on and they say ohh we have a table, go to the back and they had tables everywhere! So waiter comes over and we order right away, we wanted Rubens and they didn't have corned beef?? So we order 4 burgers.. It took an hour to get our food!! So after all that time I didn't get silverware, I ask a manager and he grabs it off a dirty table!! Set me off!! Will never go back and will recommend it no nobody!!!

Cloth napkins in Tinley Park? Are you kidding me? Lunch for under $20? Quick service? Stop cheating yourself at Mickey D's. Close to e-way. Stop for lunch. Ask for Mary.

This place is phenomenal. A vegan paradise, this restaurant offers many vegetarian and vegan options that actually taste GOOD! As a vegetarian, I can usually find one or two options on a menu. I usually settle for pasta, or maybe a veggie burger. But Ariel's has so many vegetarian options, that I wasn't sure what to get! The service was very good. Our waitress was smiling, friendly, and came through to refill drinks often. The restaurant is a little strange with its circular design, but it makes it unique. If you are a vegetarian in the Chicago suburbs, don't miss out on Ariel's. They mark all their menu options that are vegetarian, by the way, so you don't have to search and read all the descriptions to see if they have meat. Highly recommend, and not just to vegetarian. My meat-eating girlfriend loved it, too. Oh, and they have pretzel buns. EDIT 8/3/2014 Ok, seriously, Ariel's? This location went and changed their ENTIRE menu to only offer half of what they used to. Plus, they took out a good portion of the vegetarian options. Now, they only offer a veggie burger, which they were "out" of when I last visited, so I had to get the pasta primavera. I asked for no cheese on the pasta, and, of course, they put cheese on it. Not to mention the waitress we had was incredibly rude and didn't come to even take our drink orders for 10 minutes. Their menu now is limited. There are no more pretzel buns. No more vegan options other than an apparently elusive veggie burger. I emailed the company asking them to go back to their old menu. Terrible business decision. I won't be returning. My original review was 5 stars.

First of all, I tried to email Ariel's directly about the poor service I received prior to posting a Yelp but their "contact" part of their website is not working. Last night was the 3rd time I was at Ariel's and I've never had such poor service and food as last night. My friends and I sat for 20 minutes before a waitress came to us. We were seated in the bar area. Actually, we had to ask for a waitress. Then one waitress told the other, Zenia, I'm not waiting on those tables. Zenia came from the dining room area to serve us. Our order took forever. We were never offered water or another drink. I ordered the Mixed Green salad and the dressing tasted like German Mustard!! I had to ask for another salad but with the Raspberry Vinaigrette which also tasted bad. The table next to us also had poor service as they commented to us how their food order was wrong and it took a long time to get served. It's going to be a while before I come back. There's plenty of other restaurants that I dine at with better quality. Ariel's is a nice place I hope they get better help and a new chef. I'm not bashing Zenia. She was very nice but she was working in two different areas so I understand why it took her a long time to get to us. I wish I had gotten the other waitresses name that said, "I'm not waiting on those tables". That was unprofessional and uncalled for.

Service was terrible. There were maybe 10 people in the place when we were there and it was hard to get a refill on drinks. Food was less than average. It's not so good bar food. Too bad bc it's a nice environment but I will not be returning.

Stopped here to grab some drinks and grub before the Oddball Comedy Fest and sat at the bar. Nice craft beer selection, great menu options! The food was fantastic! Few downsides though: Atmosphere was very cold, aesthetically and temperature wise. For being advertised as a "pub" it wasn't very "pub like"; they were out of a lot of things. One appetizer dish, sweet sour mix, and one other. For a Sunday and as empty as they were this was odd.

My husband and I decided to have an after party here after our wedding ceremony & reception last September- we had a great experience! Kelly was our event coordinator and did a nice job. Everything went smoothly and our guests had a great time. Have also been here several times for drinks/food and have enjoyed our visits. We will be back!

No joke! One star! I ordered the Fish & Chips(Haddock being one of my favorite) and it was by far THEE worst fish & chips meal that I have EVER eaten. It was truly horrible! I had so much hope fort his place as a resident of Tinley Park. I'd been waiting in anticipation for its opening. I chose the fish & chips because I wrongfully assumed that one couldn't possible screw it up. The after taste that was left in my mouth after eating one piece of fish and a few chips I wouldn't want in an enemy...oh wait...let me rethink that statement. All jokes aside, the lunch was really that BAD! I was planning on having a dinner party here for the weekend: scratched right off of the list: ain't happening! I'm not sure what the future holds for this eatery. I'm hoping it will change, but for now: gosh...I don't know. I went for lunch: EMPTY!! Not one patron(see my photo) was in there. The hostess was polite, energetic, friendly and a delight. Her attitude had me hoping for the best! It's unfortunate that the meal didn't live up to her great appeal. The fries lacked any flavor and they were soggy. The fish...that's a whole other story. Fish was bland, over cooked, rough texture and layered in a breaking that Lassie would've frown upon. They have to do better than this! They're located in an office park, surrounded by several hotels, a convention center across the street: just not acceptable given its location and proximity to the type of businesses and clientele that would venture to this eatery for a meal. I paid $17 for a really, really, really, awful lunch. Disappointing is not even worthy of my description. Horrific might suffice.

Me and my wife went to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate Valentine day. This was our third visit there since its inception. Food was great as usual. Their special package for the evening was had a limited appeal, so we ordered from the menu. The place was well decorated and white linen on the tables added fineness and element of fine dinning. We had great time and will be back again. Nick Tinley Park

I love my Guiness but it's so hard to find a place that can pour it right...they nailed it! The food that I've had there has been excellent and the staff is real friendly.

Stopped here for a late night drink. There was a decent crowd, the band wasn't bad and the service was good.
